Merry Christmas!!!

First we slept in until 8:00. Then we opened our presents together...

Andrew got me "the jospeh smith papers" he had to call Idaho Falls and have them send one because Utah was sold out. He also got me a cute stuffed frog.

I got Andrew an electric train set and a soccer game.

Then we went over to my parents to open presents with the nephews and niece. Then we went to his parents for presents and dinner. So this is the shirt that Andrew wore over to his parents house........

That was our cute way of letting his family know that we are FINALLY EXPECTING A BABY!! We are due the end of July!!

Christmas Lights

So we kept "meaning" to put our Christmas lights up outside but it was always too cold or we were too tired. Well I was at work the other day working late and I thought, we gotaa do this before Christmas..Well I drove home that night and Andrew had set it all up and turned them on to surprize me!! I didn't get a good pic of the door. But it looks great!

Getting ready for Christmas

First we built a gingerbread house while we watched "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas"

Then we put up the Christmas tree. Luckily it was pre-lit. YEA! This is my first artificial tree.

Now we just need to decorate it and we will be good!

Sad Day

So we a sad day the other day. We had to get rid of Andrew's car. It was a little hard for him because it was the first car he had bought on his own....But don't feel too bad for him because a few days later he found a new car...Well new to us. It is a 2005 silver PT Crusier.

Andrew's Birthday Present

We got Andrew a scooter for his birthday. Ok so his birthday isn't until February but it was on a good sale! It looks good. He looks hot in his helmet too.

Does everyone like our scarecrow? He used to live on the porch but he didn't like the wind and snow so now he lives in the living room! I am weird I know!

Halloween Party

We had Karey and Shawn over to carve pumpkins and watch a scary movie. Karey brought a HUGE pumpkin....Andrew cut ours. He did a spider and some bats under a moon. It looks great!

Happy First Anniversary!

Today is our first anniversary! Time flies! So it's Sunday so we couldn't go out so we got food to go from the Olive Garden yesterday and made us a romatic dinner at home on our China dishes. Then we went for a drive up the canyon. I have never seen so many different shades of red, orange and yellow. I think everyone else had the same idea though because it ws WAY crowded! Then tomorrow we are going to go to the roof restaurant in Salt Lake.

Last Fire in the Canyon this Season

So it was warm Saturday so we (Us &Karey & Shawn) went up for our last fire and games up in the canyon till Spring. We took the lawn games that Rulon and Kaylynn gave us for Christmas and we played badminton while our tin foil dinners cooked. Then we made smores and sat by the campfire.

A nice surprise!

So my cutie husband decided to run our day off errands this morning while I slept in. So i got up and started cleaning. Well when I got home he wanted to put the groceries away so I kept cleaning and when I came out he had these flowers sitting out on the table. TOO CUTE! Well this is short but I will blog soon. For sure because this weekend is our FIRST ANNIVERSARY!! So check back soon.

Lagoon here we come!!

We finally made it to Lagoon today! We loved the Water fountain!!
We had lots of fun! especially on the Rattlesnake rapids. We did realize that we are getting a little older and some of the stuff doesn't seem as exciting anymore. Oh well there was lots to do there...

and there was lots of sun to play in. I also got to squish him on the space scrambler...


We went all through Pionerr village and looked at the old trains and guns and the homes, church and school. We also had some yummy ice cream.

Our Apartment

So many of our friends haven't been over to see our apartment even though it's almost been a year, so I am posting a video. It starts on the front porch with the porch swing that Andrew made for me for my wedding gift..the only room I don't show it the second bedroom/future nursery (some day) cause all of the contents of Andrew's car are in it until he gets a new engine. It ends in our back yard with a few of the park that starts where our yard ends..Enjoy

Megan's Bridal Shower

Bear Lake 2008

So WE just got back from Bear Lake! I say WE in caps because all along Andrew has been saying that he couldn't go. So I got all packed up and ready to go when he decided at the last minute to come with me!!!

So we drove down and set up camp. As we got there my nephews and niece were just getting ready to go to the beach. They were just there for the day.

tSo then we went and palyed in water. We started out just playing frisbee on the beach but as the frisbee just keep blowing further and further into the lake we just keep following it until we were out in the deep.

We also brought along his porable DVD player so when were done being social around the fire we went to our tent and watched a movie. It was fun. Mosquitos were out in full forc this year though and they REALLY like Andrews blood. We got out of our tent and I saw some but none were biting me and I looked at Andrew and he had 10 on his back all at once! They would not leave him alone.

Karey & Shawn got married!!

So Karey & Shawn finally got married!! The day didn't start too great. Andrew had switched work so that he would have the morning an afternoon off to go to the ceremony and luncheon. So we wake up EARLY and head to Manti. Well on our way our car makes a popping noise and starts jerking like we got a blow out. I am thinking no prob we can change a tire in under 10 minutes. So Andrew gets out of the car..no flat tire! we musy have popped a belt. So I am thinking what are the odds that someone else hasnt left yet and went the same way as us. So Andrew calls his brother in law to help him get a tow and I am freaking out cause we had a problem and missed he endowment too! Well about ten minutes later her brother pulls off the road and offers me a ride, The amazing thing is this is the brother from out if town who i just happen to meet the night before or he wouldnt have recognized me. I know all of her other siblings but they had already passed us. He said he drove by and he asks his wife isnt that Andrea. Well she HAS to be there, so even though they were running late they drove more than 10 miles to the next exit turned around and drove back and gave me a ride while Andrew took care of the car. That was so nice of them. The wedding was so beautiful. Karey & Shawn absolutely glowed and were full of tears. I was so happy I made it! Then Andrew met us at the luncheon. Then he had to go to work so I went to the reception.

Happy 4th of July!!

So we usually go to my parents to do fireworks and bbq but I had to work till 6 and my family was going out to my brothers in Saratoga Springs so we didn't have time to drive out there. Plus we wanted to be close by in case Karey & Shawn needed help setting up for their reception the next day. So when I got home Andrew bbq'd us some really good steaks....
And we cut up some watermelon, had some chips and root beer floats! Looks yummy huh?
Then we went and helped them set up for their reception. And then we went over to his parents house (cause they were out of town, so no one was there). And we did our own fireworks. So it was just us but its was tons o fun!

Since my birthday was on Sunday we couldn't do

tons. So we both had tuesday off so we decided
to go Seven Peaks!! Its was a lot of fun and
a great way to beat the 100 degrees! We thought
about going to Lagoon like I usually do but I
had too much going on later that night. I had to get my hair done for Shawn & Kareys wedding Saturday and I had a baby shower for Becca andI didn't want to miss that cause I haven't seen some of them for a few years!

Yesterday was my birthday. WHEW HEW!! Well it was Sunday so we couldn't do a whole lot. We made breakfast and after Church we went to my brothers and had bbq chicken, corn on the cob and pasta salad. Well and of course my Mom's famous cherry and babana cream pie! Andrew gave me a foot massager that I wanted, the Indiana Jones trilogy and some storage conatiners I needed. My mom got us another setting of our china. Dave got me a cool movie and Brent and Aubrey got me a new Dowdle puzzle. Then we went to Andrews parents and they gave me a nice card and $50. So now I am 32!! Wow time flies..

Bridal Shower for Kareyliz!!

YEA! We finally had a bridal shower for Kareyliz. I had a ton of fun planning it but hey how often does one of your best friends marry one of your best friends anyway?? Especially since they met through me. Anyway it was tonz o fun. We invited everyone friends and family. I think I actually embarrased Karey for the first time in the little over a year that I have known her.

Ok so I don't have any pics but I thought I would write anyway. Yesterday was one of those unplanned casual fun days. I came home form work and Andrew had bought us baseball bats and balls and we went to the baseball diamond behind our house and hit some balls and played catch. It was so much fun. Then we put a blanket in the back yard and played cards. It was a fun change from the usual watching movies that we like to do. Andrew's leg is still healing so we can't be way active yet. So it was fun to spend time together and talk.

So I had a business trip to Seattle for three days and two nights. Well this was the first time in our entire marriage (7 months) that we would ever be spending the night apart!!! We were having a hard time with it. Andrew was so sweet and so cute. He kept telling me how he missed me and telling me sweet things like if I were just a state away he would drive up there just to spend the nights with me. And when I came home he had decorated the house with balloons, flowers, stuffed animal and a sign...see below...
I rode back on the smallest plane it was not even as wide as a school bus! It was a good trip but next time I am taking him with me!

We had to go do something with Brian & MeKayla before they moved to Georgia and took our cutie Nephew with them. We played mini golf. It was tons of fun. I kept getting really lucky shots and won!
